My name is Maria and I am a copywriter and content strategist.
I started my career in 2012 as a marketing coordinator and my responsibilities spanned all the parts of a marketing department.
While working for agencies I put all my skills into content strategy and writing. Then I moved to an in-house role where I focused on SEO strategy and writing. That role evolved into me becoming a crucial part of the web team and our website and UX strategy.
My background in anthropology is the foundation of my career. I apply the principles of empathy, cultural relativism, and observation to my work, whether it’s keyword research for an article or planning the UX for web pages. Understanding how my content performs and how people interact with it only makes me more powerful.
